Winter hoops season is back! Every week, hundreds of local kids take the court to build skills, make lifelong friends, and learn healthy habits. As a volunteer coach or team leader, you do more than run drills—you provide the positive leadership, safety, and encouragement that make the game fun for everyone. By bringing the YMCA youth sports philosophy to life, you’ll teach core fundamentals, serve as a vital link between our staff and families, and act as a role model who helps players thrive on and off the court. No professional coaching background required—just a passion for supporting kids and building community.
